Director of Sport – Brontë House

We seek to appoint a well-qualified PE teacher to become Director of Sport with effect from September 2020.  The successful candidate will lead and manage all aspects of physical activity and sport at Brontë.  Close liaison with Woodhouse Grove will be necessary to ensure a coherent programme from age 2 – 18, which is stimulating, successful and inclusive.

Director of Teaching and Learning – Brontë House

Working closely with the Head, the Assistant Heads of Ashdown Lodge, Lower School and Upper School, the Director of Teaching and Learning will play a strategic role in the monitoring, evaluation and development of the curriculum at Brontë House.  They will oversee systems for assessment, reporting and recording and will assist the Head in the continued development of excellence in Teaching and Learning.

The post holder will also possess a thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of ISI requirements and will, in conjunction with the Head, ensure Brontë House remains compliant in its practices and policies.

The post holder will lead on the development of a core subject throughout the school.
