Parents' Association | Woodhouse Grove School

The Ashdown Brontë Association is the Parents’ Association for Ashdown Lodge and Brontë House.

The ABA coordinates a variety of exciting fundraising events throughout the school year with the aim of benefiting all children in school from Pre-Nursery through to Year 6. The monies raised are used to help school life be more enjoyable and fun and enhance the children’s educational experience.

Projects that have benefited from some of the funds raised in recent years include new ipads, interactive whiteboards, awnings outside Ashdown Lodge, the adventure playground, bouncy castles and the ‘Brontë Garden Project’.

The ABA relies on the involvement of parents and guardians. The committee meets once every two months for approximately 2 hours - but for those that do not have much time to spare, each event needs volunteers and even 30 minutes of help is greatly appreciated.
