Although now mainly a day school, during term time the Grove is home to over 120 boarders. The Grove's boarding community keeps the school alive seven days a week and the broader social, national and international mix provided by our boarders enriches the whole school. Pupils who chose boarding appreciate how much it can bring to their lives.

Boarding arrangements are flexible: occasional, weekly or full boarding. Our day pupils benefit from the wide range of activities that a boarding school provides and the flexibility of occasionally staying overnight or coming in early for breakfast and staying for tea is appealing to many families.

Boarding can offer families an ideal solution to all those familiar problems of modern life, such as how to manage the school run and after school activities when both parents are working. Weekly boarders enjoy home at weekends and school in the week without the time, cost and hassle of the daily journey to and from school, plus they get the added benefit of teaching support at homework time.
