The Grove has a distinctive voice and sound and a long tradition of musical excellence provided by the numerous orchestras, bands and ensembles. Classical, jazz, rock and composition are all offered, along with the opportunity to join in with the many choirs and singing groups which enhance many of the school's public occasions. The numbers of pupils who seize the opportunity to learn and participate enables the Director of Music to stage a programme of events at every level of the school. The new Grove Theatre provides an excellent venue for concerts and musical productions and allows the promotion of a full repertoire of informal recitals and instrumental evenings to full choral and orchestral concerts and dramatic productions giving the audience an opportunity to appreciate the quality and ability of all our performers. |
