Adventure Days
Years 7 & 8 have both been out on adventure days this term. Year 7 spent the day learning some new skills in Malham. These included abseiling, climbing and scrambling up Gordale Scar, raft building on Malham Tarn and mountain biking in Gisburn Forest.Year 8’s went to Rother Valley Park where they were involved in a number of outdoor activities, some on land such as cycling and taking part in team challenges and some on the water doing raft building and racing, sailing, windsurfing and Canadian Canoeing. It was a good job it was a watersports day as it rained and thundered for most of the day!
