There are many opportunities outside the curriculum for personal development.

Whilst the work covered in the classroom is important, there are many opportunities outside the curriculum for personal development. These range from Zumba and Multi-Sports for our youngest children to Chess, Science and Mandarin clubs for the older ones. All children are encouraged to participate in at least one co-curricular activity and many do considerably more.

We believe that this sort of involvement is key to developing confidence and self esteem.

We offer our pupils a variety of trips.

These are in addition to the scheduled excursions that each year group makes and include sports tours and an arts trip to London. All the children in Year 2 also enjoy a residential trip to a destination such as Whitby or the Lake District.

The school operates holiday clubs during all school holidays and as well as the school run facility there are opportunities to sign up for external run activities.

Please see below details about this summers holiday club and the various activities on offer.
